David M. Rainero, DMD
Meet Dr. Rainero
Dr. David Rainero was born in Oakland, California and graduated from Bishop O’Dowd High School. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology from the University of California at Berkeley, he attended and graduated from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He then completed a five year surgical residency at Washington University/Barnes Hospital Medical Center in St. Louis. He has been in private practice in Walnut Creek for 25 years.
Dr. Rainero is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Since 1990, he has been elected to multiple terms as chairman of the Department of Oral Surgery & Dentistry at John Muir Medical Center. In addition, he participates in the trauma service at the Medical Center. He is an active member of local, state, and national dental and oral surgery societies. He has lectured nationally and internationally on topics of office emergency preparedness and other topics in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. He and his wife, Anne, have four daughters.
