Raghav Khandelwal, DMD
Oral Surgeon in Danville, CA
Dr. Raghav Khandelwal is a California native who earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego. He was selected for the Navy Health Professions Scholarship Program and went on to attend the Harvard School of Dental Medicine from 2010-2014. After dental school, he returned to the Bay Area to complete his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery through the University of the Pacific, Highland Hospital/Alameda County Medical Center, Children’s Hospital, and Kaiser Hospital in Oakland, California.
Upon completing his surgical training, Dr. Khandelwal was commissioned as an active-duty Naval Dental Officer in 2018. He served as the staff oral surgeon at the Naval Medical Readiness Training Command in Lemoore, California, and as a part-time attending at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. He concluded his military service with the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
Following his active-duty service, Dr. Khandelwal returned to the Bay Area and joined Walnut Creek-Danville Oral Surgery (WCDVOS) in 2022. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. His practice focuses on dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, outpatient anesthesia, and he holds staff privileges at Stanford Medicine.
Outside of the office, Dr. Khandelwal enjoys spending quality time with his son—traveling, exploring new cultures, and teaching him Spanish (and perhaps grooming him to be the next oral surgeon!). In his free time, he enjoys basketball, reading, wine tasting, traveling, and cheering on the Clippers and Packers.
